Originally a branch of the payroll services provided by Quill Accounts (now Accounts Services Fife), Quill first began providing payroll services to Direct Payment and Independent Living Fund (ILF) users in Fife as far back as 1999. Over the years, we have become more adept at providing these services and, in conjunction with local authorities, ILF and care providers, gained more knowledge of what type of help and service people with disabilities need.

We felt this aspect of our business required a more dedicated and specialist service for all our clients and so Quill Accounts Limited was established in 2011.  We decided it would be best that this new company be a 'not-for-profit' organisation so that it is reflective of the nature of the business and the social sector to which the services are provided and our users belong.

In the coming years we hope to be able to reinvest in services and support schemes that help our users in other ways so there are additional long term benefits to using Quill.
